Just Us Books is sponsoring a writing contest "My Most Memorable Moment With My Father" for elementary school students in 1st through 5th grades. The first prize is $250.oo. The second prize is $100.oo. Entries must be postmarked by January 31, 2008.

The deadline for the Tennessee Writers Alliance 2007 Literary Awards Competition is July 1, 2007. The Alliance offers monetary awards ($500, $250 & $100) for short fiction and poetry.
